After meeting Karl and his beautiful Horse- Wolf of Wall Street, (Jordy), I very quickly learned that we share the same values, passion and determination.
Karl was reunited with Jordy back in May 22
With the intention of taking Jordy forward in the show ring. For issues that became apparent, 2022 was not their year! After an initial assessment and several treatments, Karl and I feel, with the treatment Jordy has received, good facilities and correct work, we are not ready to give up on Jordy just yet- and are looking forward to seeing him in the ring this season. I personally, am very much looking forward to continuing to supporting Karl and Jordy, watching them in the show ring progressing though their next chapter!
KINGS GUIDE TO MORECAMBE BAY MICHAEL WILSON & PARTNER JOANNE HALES
Michael Wilson is the 26th royally appointed Kings Guide to Morecambe Bay, he has been in the role since 2016.
Although Michael receives £15 per year for the job he also receives a beautiful 16 acre Farm located in Grange over sands named Guides Farm.
Though Michael prefers his horses under the bonnet of his tractor, Michaels partner Joanne is a keen horse addict who loves nothing more than her horses and being able to ride out on the sand.
Michaels vision was to bring back history to the bay by bringing horses back as this was originally why the guide was appointed back in the 1500s'!
Charlie loves being on the bay walks whilst Finn is their newest member of their family.
It is a absolute pleasure to work on the Kings Guides Horses!

CHARLIE aka CHARLESTON
Charlie is a 17 year old Cob gelding who loves nothing more than a nice hack out! Takes everything in his stride and thoroughly loves his bodywork treatments off me!
FINN
Finn is a 4 year old Cob, gelding. Michael rescued Finn from a rescue centre in December for Joanne for her Christmas present!
